The MSI Afterburner tool has been updated to 1.6.0 Beta 4. What's the big deal you ask? It enables voltage adjustments! So I just installed it and slid the voltage to 1.025 (from 0.987) and pushed the GPU up to 901. (I've tried before at stock voltage without success) Max Temps after 30 minutes of FurMark Xtreme Burn gave 60C (18C ambient). Now again this is on a Black Ice Pro 2 (2x120mm) and CPX-1 pump. Not bad at all! BTW - I could feel the air temperature difference at the radiator discharge vs. stock voltage. The full screen showing the temp profile: And then a couple shots of the Heaven Benchamark at stock 701 and overclocked 901 with all setting at maximum resolution and detail. The max temperature was 46C!!
So there is a lot of room for these cards to move up in the overclock with proper cooling! Check out our photo gallery!
