I am replacing the twins ( 4890's ) for one Hemlock at the release . Then I plan on the second one a bit later . Will for sure wb both cards after I test there max over clocking abilities on the stock AMD / ATI cooler to compare results . http://www.fudzilla.com/content/view/16094/65/ I am not to sure the card will be called a 5870 x 2 ? I have read some things that suggest the Hemlock x2 core card will be named like a singal AMD/ATI card ( 59XX ) taking away the old X2 naming .

Shooting for Monday/Wednesday next week. Had to make a couple changes for the water channel to get over the VRM's...

:?: Is this waterblock skinny enough to allow for the card to be a single slot solution? (ignoring the outer bracket part)

Yes, all FC blocks from all the makers are single slot solutions.

Love the look of the block. Had a couple questions though, how heavy is the block? Also do you end plate bits for the 5970 so we aren't stuck with the little grill bit?

EDIT: I think I got the answer to the first Q, 3 lbs. from the product page, must have just missed it last time.

My DD-5970 block will be delivered Thursday for My Asus 5970 . As soon as I can find one more Asus 5970 available I will buy the second DD-5970 block . My main rig WarPig1 is apart right now waiting for Thursday and I am searching for my second 5970 . What a pain in the butt to get one of these cards . The Asus has core voltage up to 1.45V stock bios . The others only have 1.30V to 1.35V capabilities with there stock bios . Looking forward to wind them up to max 100% stable speeds !!!
