Yes an idea...

I think all copper is in the $140-150 range.

Then we'll have a nickle plated top with copper base and then both nickle. Each will cost more because of shipping and plating costs...

I should have the all copper versions available by the end of the week.

Updated photos...

There will be three versions to start:

1. All Copper
2. Nickle Top Copper Base
3. Nickle Top and Nickle Base

The All Copper will be available first with the nickle versions in 1-2 weeks.

Any chance we can preorder? I'll be looking for one of these ASAP :D

Also any chance on a copper base, Delrin top version?

Next you need to make an SR-2 Block :D

How many rads (@ 120mm) do you think you would need to cool one of thees with a 920 @ 4.0GHz?

I'm looking at the possibility of a Pre-Order. That may happen or at least an email notification when in stock. We will have some ready next week actually...of course the cards won't be out yet (except for reviewers).

Not sure on a Delrin or other high quality plastic top...investigating the options there.

Radiators are always a question. Both items are in the 1x or 2x 120mm size range. A 1x140mm may be able to take it on also.

i7 920 4.0. 250 watts Minimum 120x2 size
GTX480 300 watts Minimum 120x2 size, and the extra heat will hurt the CPU temps somewhat. Not a perfect situation.

Maybe this site will help on rad abilities.

Also much of this info is at the top of this forum under FAQs.

Total? 120x4 or two 120x2 in series.

Best way? TWO loops. 120x3 for the CPU loop, and a 120x3 for the GPU. Seperate pumps, resses, TWO fully seperate loops. An i7 920 at 4.0 and a GTX 480 is playing with the big boys, be prepared to pay like the big boys.

250 watts for the CPU, 300 watts each for the GPU's. Minus 20% for normal usage.

The CPU is MUCH more sensitive to higher water temps, the GPUs not as much.

CPU 120x2 minimum.

GPU's I'd go TWO 120x2 two rads. All depends on your tolerance for noise.
Scroll down 1/2 way and look at the heatload. Look at 300 watts, you got TWO of them so one of each size for each rad.
http://martin.skinneelabs.com/SwiftechM ... eview.html

You don't want more than 15 Delta T temps on the GPU if your a big overclocker. The CPU NEEDS under 10C for best performance, max overclock.

Both loops seperate pumps, resses etc.

Does the block that fits a GTX 480 also fit a GTX 470?

All Copper Version Product Page. Sign up for stock notification. Hopefully in the next few days.

Nickle versions are still 1-2 weeks out.

The GTX480 and GTX470 are completely different PCB designs so will require different blocks.
