Nvidia GTX295 ThreadI just got done with the photoshoot. I need to doctor all of them and then add highlight points for removal of airsink and installation of the waterblock. I'm loaded up in the high 40's right now with a 3x120mm Xtreme radiator on a i7 extreme and a CPX-Pro pump.

This is beautiful! I can't wait to see what kind of OC'ing results come out of this...especially with EVGA's voltage tuning utility.
Will this block work with the EVGA 295+? Also, is this compatible with the EVGA backplate?
Should be...I think everyone has the reference design. And the backplate is just a swap out I believe.

Just ordered oneSince I am running the same BFG board as in the photo shoot. It should be a fairly easy install. With the way this board is designed it makes for a tight design. the thickness of the cooler has to be exact to match the two boards separation to align the HDMI on the backplate. A fit and finish custom cover of some sort would be nice but the main part, the block, is out !!
I'm trying to get the Photo install instructions finished to include in the box (photos from the gallery). I will also be posting it in the instruction section just in case...the FedEx shipping deadline is looming.

I heard that. Seriously, I bought an acrylic bender, modders mesh, and uv panels back when I first got the 9800 GX2s. Might have to actually do the project to make covers now . . .
Jeremy, I know you've gotta be sick and tired of this question, but I just gotta ask it....
"How long til you get the GTX 295 water blocks in stock?" I ask, because I just received my very first Danger Den waterblock yesterday. It's the MC-TDX. I was *shocked* when I opened the box; I have never seen a higher quality product. Literally, I was blown away. So now I'm faced with a very tough decision.... I ordered a EVGA GTX 295 from the Egg today (yup, they have them in stock RIGHT NOW, so you better hurry...) and it'll be here tomorrow. Here's the hard part: Koolance has their 295 water block in stock right now. It's also 30 bucks cheaper. BUT, after being so incredibly impressed with the MC-TDX I received yesterday, I would much rather pony up the extra cash for the DD 295 water block, if it's going to be available soon. I'm waiting to take my old reserator kit off of my old machine and put it on my new i7 computer until I get all of the water blocks I need. The last one I need is the 295, hint, hint. And to those that are about to reply, "You're crazy to put an i7 and a 295 in the same reserator Iv2 loop"... You're right, I probably am, but I'm gonna try it anyway. It had no problems cooling two 7800's in SLI and a AMD FX-64. In fact, it kept everything in the 40's at full load, so it appears to have cooling capacity to spare. The reserator also has the optional cooling fan mounted on top. It's huge, and it increases the cooling capacity of the reserator by about three times. That darn reserator has been running for three years straight with nary a hiccup. Lot's of people dis the reserator, but I love mine. Anyway, an update on an estimated availability date of the GTX 295 water block would be really appreciated.
I'm thinking we will have a handful up Friday or this weekend!

295Hi all. this is my first run at water cooling, so be kind.
got a DD 295 water block and a BFG 295. The photo gallery was right on target. I cleaned the two 280 chips and put arctic silver on them both. I attached the water block to the first side and it seated well directly over the holes where the screws go. The problem is, I unscrewed the water block and examined the area where the 280 chip (with arctic silver) comes in contact with the water block. There is NO arctic silver marks. This leads me to believe the water block in NOT in contact with the 280 chip. Any recommendations??? thanks
Did you get it to work out? We haven't had any issues yet that I know of...let us know.
