From the looks of it.... 7950GT waterblocks may fit on the 8800GT. A few memory modules look a bit off but the core mounting looks the same. Would DD be able to confirm?

put a little non-conductive goo on the memory and gpu and put the water block in place with a little pressure then pull off and check your contact area. If it is touching all areas with a good pattern give it a try.

Ahh.... The 8800GT isn't out yet. Before I get it, I would like to know if I need a new block.

Actually the Koosah is almost a perfect fit...but it does need a couple changes. We are doing the final changes to the design now...It's a shame...so close to the same.

Also, it may need to have the bridge or be more like the 8800 series because of the voltage regs and stuff to the right side of the card.

That's why I'm asking. Companies get products pre-release for design.

Jerm, How close? Do you think a Koosah plus thermal pads would work? I'll add some VRM heatsinks as well. Com'on hope!

We are working on it...There is a mod that would need to be made to the Koosah to make it work (I think). I am waiting on the solid model files to verify (Rokk is finishing them). A bolt on bridge will allow the Koosah to cool the voltage regs also.

Can I get confirmation the Maze4&5 GPU blocks will fit the 8800gt?

99% sure they will fit since the 8800GT uses 7900/7950 spaced holes.

[DD]JERM, any chance of sharing the model files? I might have someone mill a custom heatsink.

The MAZE5GPU will fit...and a bunch of RAMsinks!

We won't be able to give out the model...We did have to do a new block because of the voltage regs. The first card we had didn't have all the components (mechanical spec card) and the retail card did. So it did get a bit more complicated.

Where do the additional RAMSinks need to be placed (other than on the GDDR)?

MAZE4GPU and MAZE5GPU have the same hole mounts (The Aluminum version of the MAZE4GPU doesn't...but I don't think anyone runs those anymore).

There are voltage regulators that need RAMsinks and an I/O chip that will need one.
