I was introduced to Tygon tubing while serving in the US NAVY. This tubing was used in Randolph pumps for sucking water and oil out of the bilges. This tubing lasted longer for our application due to its excellent characteristics. The tubing is more flexible and durable for a variety of temperature changes. It does not pinch water flow due to 90 degree bends, given some arching room of course. It does not have "memory" of damage due to extreme handling like vinyl hose does. It bounces right back if you kink it once you release forces that kinked it from it. I think there is nothing like this tubing on the market.
I am aware that this brand of tubing is the chosen brand for hospital applications due to many of the same characteristics I mentioned.
Cons: Much more expensive than the vinyl alternative.
Low pressure drop design for maximum coolant flow rate
Ready to install designed and tuned for your system for top performance
Corrosion will not occur when used with other Copper and Brass parts. Avoid using non-anodized aluminum (or all aluminum) if at all possible for maximum component life.
