|
Author: Thruster great pump, very quiet as long as it isnt pumping air. more vibration than i expected, but nothing to worry about.

Author: Slash Bit large, but rock solid reliable. Used it to chill Athlon XP-M, then dual Opteron 242's, then dual 246's with Maze 4 northbridge, now dual 250's @ 2.65GHz, Maze 4 NB, and Nvidia 7800. 3 Years and 4 systems on one pump!

Author: nick I bought this pump and all I can say is wow . when It says 6ft pull they mean it . I have a custom system I made and it can pull threw all the loops and radiators . And yes it dose a little vibration .

Author: hotrippr just got this for my first wc. It is silent, does vibe a little but just soft mount on cardboard and the foam that comes with the dd block packaging and now no vibe, done the cheap way. Plugs into wall is a plus nowadays considering power needs of GPUs. Size is a bit large but worked in my Armor.

Author: Brian YLFTD I mounted this on rubber furniture padding. Slight vibration felt not heard.
Depending on case and loction therein, geting to the screws holding down the "back side" of the pump can be a PAIN. Needs a PCI-card power switch or feed-through expansion slot plate so pump can run independent of PSU.

Author: muddocktor I originally bought my Eheim 1250 from Danger Den over 5 years ago to build my original watercooled system and this Eheim 1250 is still going strong without any failures. And this is with constant usage running 24/7/365. I read of people using all these 12 volts pumps and that might be handy, but it's hard to argue with the reliability of Eheim and their pumps. They have a reputation for reliability in the aquarium hobby that fully carries over to the watercooling world of computers. Zero leaks, zero problems, zero repairs in 5+ years of continuous service cooling processors.

Author: mxtee I'm using it for over 3 years now. I didnt have any problems with it.. very efficent and quite quiet if you put it on rubber legs. The only drawback i can think of is the size.. It's HUGE!

Author: Andrew Mollmann Great pump, bought one used a couple years ago, has lasted me through several complete system upgrades. Vibrates a bit, just stick it on some foam and you won't feel or hear it though.
|
Author: bugsz It's a great pump if you don't mind the vibration and rattling.
|
Author: Clint Corbin I've been using my 1250 in my WC system for over three years 24/7/365 now with out a hitch.
The reason I went with Eheim in the first place my experience with their pumps in a MUCH harsher environment: reef aquariums. Due to a very corrosive (salt water) and abrasive (VERY high TDS due to additives for the corals) environment, lesser pumps just don't last. Eheims DO last.

Author: FloorPizza If you can get the vibration under control (mounting it on soft foam works great), the pump is *totally* silent. Very strong output. The adaptors that DD provides for this pump are ugly, but functional. Great pump!
